Beginner Acrylic Painting | Saturday Sept 23 10-4pm

In this full day workshop we will look at the basics of painting through working from images and still life set ups. Some aspects we will cover are:Basic colour theory , elements about composition as well as several techniques to get you started on your acrylic painting journey.

MATERIALS LIST

• brushes,- 2,6,10 round taklon , ¼” flat,1/2 flat hogs hair
• palette knife
• Acrylic paint. Here are my suggestions: white, black, (phthalo) blue, (sap or hookers) green are musts, other colours yellow, red and ultramarine blue
• Palette for the paint
• Note pad and pencil
• A packed lunch- during lunch we will talk about composition and have a power point presentation…it’s a working lunch)

ARTiculations will provide basic surfaces, paper towel, water containers and handouts.
