The popular Schmincke HORADAM Aquarell Super Granulation Volcano palette is now available in a set of 3 for a limited time. This set includes 5ml tubes of Volcano Red, Volcano Violet and Volcano Brown.
Schmincke is expanding the possibilities of granulating watercolour painting to include unusual colours with a super-granulating appearance. The combination of at least 2 granulating Horadam pigments intensifies the granulating effect, in which pigments mass together in places on the paper, to form “super granulation”.
The natural structure formation of the colours varies depending on the substrate and the amount of water used. The rougher the paper, the stronger the granulation effect.
