Conservar Varnish Brush, 50mm (2 in)

Specifically designed to apply Conservar Varnishes, this thin, but wide flat brush is made entirely synthetic hair—animal-free. Made in Germany. Available 2 inches (50 mm) wide. This brush is sufficiently stiff to work varnish in the texture of your painting without being too stiff to damage the surface during application.

Conservar Varnish Brush features synthetic fibers set in a thin but wide stainless steel ferrule. The ferrule is attached securely to a hardwood handle that has been double dipped with a white coating resistant to most varnish solvents. The thin tuft helps to avoid over loading varnish onto the brush and on the painting surface thereby improving wetting and application of the varnish.
