Introducing Junction Meets Project Space

New location and New Project and Exhibition Space Potential.

Our new space means new iterations of ARTiculations community engagement will be coming in 2021. ARTiculations has always served the community through quality art materials, art exhibitions and art classes. Just as we will start up our workshops and classes when safe to do so, we will also launch our gallery space again.

We named our previous gallery at 2928 Dundas St West Earl Selkirk Gallery (2011-2021) to acknowledge the history of the space we inhabited. Choosing to establish a dedicated exhibition space within our store helped to achieve our goals of supporting artists and creating accessible opportunities for viewers to experience art. The Earl Selkirk Gallery achieved this while providing the opportunity to recognize memory of space and the role we have in continuing to respect it.

Introducing Junction Meets Project Space - A continuation of community and creativity!
ARTiculations art studio and dedicated space for exhibitions now honour Junction Meats proprietors, George Sakellariou and family.

Long time Junction residents, they launched their business in 1979 at 2802 Dundas Street West (now ARTiculations), a location that soon became the heart of their lives for over 35 years. Junction Meets Project Space will combine both our studio and gallery space and will be equipped for classes, workshops, demonstrations, exhibitions and community events.

We feel that our mandate to welcome and engage the community was matched by the dedicated service that George and family provided previously at 2802 Dundas, and this played an important part in us choosing this wonderful space.
