The artisan uses full leather hides embracing the unique characteristics of the leather. It will beautifully age, blemishing naturally from your experiences, giving it a unique appearance. This handmade item has an inner cotton peek-a-boo lining and a metal teeth zipper. The leather pull tab at zipper head makes it pleasingly easy to get in and out of your case. What you decide to keep in this case is up to you, as long as it inspires you to make art everyday.

Melanie Hazel has been drafting theatrical patterns and building costumes for 20 years. From Romeo and Juliet to Jesus Christ Superstar at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and from Lion King to Lord of the Rings in Toronto, Melanie loves being a part of bringing a story to life on stage. In-between theatre contracts she works freelance; building dance costumes for competitive dancers. Melanie’s passion for creativity doesn’t stop there, she is in the final stages of illustrating her first children’s book for self publishing.

Having now collaborated with her sister Heather, Owner, creative entrepreneur and co-founder of ARTiculations, Melanie has designed and is manufacturing leather and denim goods bringing quality, Canadian made art supplies to artisans.
