You will be introduced to konnyaku, a traditional sizing used on Japanese paper. Learn how it
transforms Japanese paper, making it stronger and easier to manipulate. It is a very useful
preparation before stitching and for creating 3-dimensional forms. In the afternoon, you will be
able to create a small hand stitched or a sculptural piece using this technique.
