Open Call: Tiny Monuments | Miniature Salon

Small works. All media. Big ideas at the scale of a playing card.

ARTiculations invites artists working in all media to submit to Tiny Monuments | Miniature Salon, an exhibition celebrating small-scale work with big presence. Whether sculptural, two-dimensional, or somewhere in between, all submissions must fit within the dimensions of a standard baseball card: 2.5 × 3.5 × 3.5 inches (6.4 × 8.9 × 8.9 cm).

We’re seeking works that explore scale, intimacy, and material in surprising ways—objects you have to lean in to experience, yet linger in your imagination long after.

Details

Size Limit:
All works must fit within a 2.5 × 3.5 × 3.5-inch volume (including frame or base if applicable). This includes drawings, paintings, sculpture, objects, or any media. Works larger than this will not be eligible.

If you have questions about this please contact us - none of us want to say no when you're dropping off artwork!

Installation Notes:

• Unframed panel and paper-based works will be installed with low-adhesive tape.
• Sculptures will be displayed on a wall-mounted shelf with a lip.

Media:
Open to all media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, textile, ceramic, digital, collage, etc.

Deadline to Register: November 9, 2025
Submission Dates: November 13-16, 2025

Exhibition Dates: November 20 - December 21, 2025
Reception: November 20, 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Submission Fee: $35 for the first submission, $10 for each additional
Artwork Sales: ARTiculations takes a 10% commission; artworks may be priced up to $100 per piece
Number of Works per Artist: Up to 3 submissions per artist
