Do you have a personal story you want to share? An illustrated essay about your pet? A comic about your favourite food? Zine Machine will take you from concept to distribution in 4 weeks of studio time with exercises and guidance to help you self-publish your zine. We’ll cover various zine formats, story-boarding, printing options, and how to share your work with the world (or at least a few friends). We’ll have tools for traditional art-making but you’re also welcome to bring an iPad or other device if you prefer to work digitally. We’ll end our time together with a zine trade to add to or start your own collection.
