Drawing with Felt & Thread with Erin MacKeen
November 1 & 2, 10:30am-3:30pm
Spend the weekend exploring how to create textile drawings using thread and felt as your pencil and paint. You’ll learn how to needle felt, stitch, and bead to create your own images on a selection of fabric surfaces. You’ll be introduced to various materials for embroidery and felting and how to source them as well as approaches for displaying finished pieces. No previous experience is required as this workshop is designed for beginners.
