In this workshop led by the talented Megan Bray, ARTiculations team member and devoted Tiny Kit enthusiast, you'll have the opportunity to create your own customized watercolour travel set. When you're painting in impromptu places, every inch of space is precious, and that's where our tiny creations come in handy!

Using the smallest supplies and a touch of clay, we'll transform a metal Kaweco tin into a compact masterpiece capable of holding everything you need for pocket-sized Plein Air Painting. But that's not all! We'll also customize a canvas pouch to accommodate your artistic creation. It's all about convenience and portability, ensuring you're always ready to make art wherever inspiration strikes.

During the workshop, Megan will guide you through the process, offering valuable insights and techniques. Once we've finished crafting our personalized watercolour travel sets, weather and time permitting, we'll venture out to put them to the test. With our kits in hand, we'll explore the world around us, embracing the joy of painting en plein air.

ABOUT MEGAN

Megan Bray is a Toronto-based visual artist specializing in Gouache and Colour Pencil. With expertise in various materials, she demonstrates versatility in her art. Megan has taught youth art programs for over a decade and is known for her stunning pet portraits and vibrant custom gouache home portraits. Her artwork and commissions can be found in private collections in Canada, the USA, and Europe. Inspired by nature and the urban environment, she is an avid plein air painter, and urban sketcher. Megan's dedication to her sketchbook practice and her creation of customized travel material kits reflect her attention to detail and passion for organized artistry. She is a well-rounded artist respected within the vibrant Toronto art scene.

All ARTiculations workshops require advance registration, unless otherwise noted. In the event of insufficient enrolment, registrants will be notified prior to the workshop start date and a full refund will be given. No refunds/credits will be provided for withdrawal fewer than one week prior to the start of class. ARTiculations does not provide make-up classes or substitutions.
